3/29/2023 0 Comments Lsat accommodationsHow do I go about getting accommodations/finding a psychiatrist? Will my lack of history with accommodations hurt my chances? I have not sought them out in the past due to the stigma around mental health but I do not want to let that hurt me again like it did for college admissions. Also, I was not accommodated for college tests but I do not think the time pressure on these exams even approached the level of time pressure on the LSAT. Perhaps if I had gotten accommodations in the past, my score would have better predicted my performance in college. Also, despite scoring below average for the college I was accepted to, I finished in the top 10% of my graduating class in a difficult major. The LSAT is a tough test that is designed. Each section is 35 minutes and the test takes approximately half a day to administer. ![]() The 5 multiple choice sections are logical reasoning (2 sections), reading comprehension, and logic games (plus one experimental section). The LSAT consists of four, 35-minute, multiple. The LSAT is comprised of five multiple choice sections and one writing section. Your LSAT score, along with your college GPA, is one of the most important factors considered when applying to law school, as it helps determine admission into law schools and funding as well. According to the Americans with Disability Act (ADA), you are entitled to reasonable academic testing accommodations if you have a mental or physical disability. Despite doing fairly well, I still believe that I underperformed on the SAT. The LSAT (Law School Admission Test) is a standardized test required for admission to most law schools. While I have never been accommodated before, I do think that it would have aided me on the SAT. I believe that I could qualify because I believe that I have undiagnosed ADHD (difficulty focusing, frequently lose car keys/wallet, obsessed with things for short periods and burn out).
